Union Source Pro TH Black 2027 Snowboard Binding

The Union Source Pro TH is a unisex snowboard binding developed with Torstein Horgmo, built around a freestyle-focused platform with a more precise, performance-led feel. It combines a new highback shape with a lightweight direct mounting construction, giving riders a setup that stays responsive without feeling restrictive. The result is a binding positioned for riders who want clean board control, strong energy transfer, and enough freedom for modern freestyle riding.

At the core of the design is Union’s Direct Connect Mounting System, a disk-free interface that uses two screws and washers to reduce overall weight while maintaining direct connection to the board. This works together with the brand’s two-layer baseplate construction, pairing a Forged Carbon Core with a Duraflex XC frame. According to Union, this creates the lightest baseplate they have built, while keeping the response and structural strength expected from a high-performance binding.

The ride feel is supported by a 7/10 flex, placing the Source Pro TH in a balanced zone for riders who need support under load but still want a binding that moves naturally in freestyle situations. The new S18 Source TH Duraflex Blue Highback is tuned for a more playful feel, while the asymmetrical wrap design and integrated 3-stage forward lean adjustment allow for a more dialed stance and terrain-specific setup.

Comfort and control are handled through the Hybrid 3.0 ankle strap with HP core and the TS 6.0 Dual-Layer UltraGrip toe strap. The ankle strap is designed to balance cushioning and response, and the updated hinge connector is intended to make entry and exit easier. Underfoot, the Hi-Flex HP EVA bushing adds cushioning and shock absorption while keeping the rider close to the board. An extruded 3D aluminum heelcup, Magnesium S1 ratchets with aluminum base, and Grade 8.8 steel plus titanium hardware complete a highly technical build.
