The shell is made from NetPlus® 100% postconsumer recycled nylon ripstop, produced from recycled fishing nets to help reduce ocean plastic pollution. A durable water repellent finish made without intentionally added PFAS adds light weather resistance, while keeping the construction focused and functional. The result is a clean, low-bulk jacket that balances everyday wearability with dependable outdoor performance.

Insulation comes from 800-fill-power 100% Responsible Down Standard down, certified by Control Union, CU 880272. This high-loft down delivers strong warmth for its weight, and the quilting is patterned to support both heat retention and freedom of movement. For travel, daily use, and cool-weather layering, it offers the warmth expected from a classic down piece without unnecessary weight.

The adjustable hood uses a single-pull system for quick fit changes. At the front, the zipper is finished with an interior storm flap and a zipper garage at the chin for improved comfort against the skin. Nylon-bound elastic cuffs help hold warmth in place, while the hem adjusts with a cord lock for a more secure fit in wind or lower temperatures.

Storage is practical and well integrated. Two on-seam zippered welt handwarmer pockets keep the profile clean, while a zippered interior chest pocket doubles as a stuffsack and includes a carabiner clip-in loop. Two interior drop-in pockets add extra space for small essentials or gloves.

As expected from Patagonia, the construction also reflects a considered approach to production. This piece is made in a Fair Trade Certified™ factory, and a repair patch is included for quick fixes on the go.
