The norda 001A in Abyss is engineered for ultra distance performance, combining advanced materials with a lightweight, highly resilient construction. Designed for extended efforts across technical terrain, it balances cushioning, durability and mechanical precision.

The upper is seamlessly woven from bio-circular Dyneema®, delivering exceptional abrasion resistance at minimal weight. As one of the world’s strongest and lightest fibers, Dyneema® ensures structural integrity while reducing overall material bulk. Integrated hi-vis reflective detailing provides 360° visibility in low-light conditions.

Underfoot, the proprietary norda™ x Arnitel® TPEE midsole offers benchmark energy return and long-term resilience. This thermoplastic polyester elastomer blend maintains mechanical properties under stress, supporting consistent performance over distance.

The exclusive norda™ x Vibram® soleplate incorporates Litebase® technology to reduce sole weight while preserving traction. Vibram® Megagrip® rubber ensures reliable grip across wet and dry surfaces, and 5mm lugs enhance control on varied terrain.

A custom eTPU insole maximizes energy absorption and return, while the norda™ Lock System with sock gusset construction improves fit and eliminates tongue movement. Diamond-pattern laces made from bio-based Dyneema® and recycled polyester increase durability and abrasion resistance.

Sizing runs small. We recommend going up half a size in US sizing.
