The FCS Day-X Longboard Board Bag GO-Light is a versatile day and travel hybrid designed for surfers who want dependable protection without the bulk of a full multi-board travel cover. Replacing the Travel 1 in the FCS range, it is built for weekend expeditions, road trips, hikes into more remote breaks, and air travel when a single board is all you need.

This updated Day-X cover combines a compact profile with a feature set aimed at practical, high-frequency use. The outer is built from a 600D waterproof and anti-abrasion ripstop shell with a PRC coating to help resist water ingress and wear over time. For added security in transit, the bag includes nose and tail impact protection, including a 5mm high-density EVA nose impact protection plate, helping to protect the most vulnerable zones of the board during handling, loading, and travel.

Protection is a key part of the Day-X concept. The bag uses 10mm foam protection with PE foam internal walls for insulation and impact absorption, while the overall construction stays lighter and more streamlined than a larger dedicated travel bag. This balance makes it well suited to surfers who move between local sessions and short travel missions and want one cover that can handle both.

Utility details are equally considered. A wetty stash pocket with drainage gives you a dedicated place to store a wetsuit on the way back from the beach, keeping the main carry setup more organised. The expandable fin and tail gusset allows the board to be carried with or without fins, adding flexibility depending on how your board is set up.
