The Bataleon Tornado x Beyond Medals Men’s Snowboard is a high energy freestyle and all mountain board developed for fast, aggressive riding. Created in collaboration with Beyond Medals and pro rider Tor Lundström, the Tornado blends performance driven shaping with a creative, park influenced mindset. It is designed for riders who want stability at speed, powerful carving, and the freedom to hit features across the entire resort.

Built around Bataleon’s 3BT™ and SideKick™ shaping, the Tornado combines traditional tip to tail camber with lifted sidebases at the nose and tail. This 3D shaping reduces edge catch while maintaining strong ollie power and reliable edge hold. The result is a board that feels locked in when carving, yet smooth and forgiving when transitioning edge to edge or riding variable snow.

The medium camber profile delivers a balance between control and responsiveness. It rewards a more aggressive riding style, offering stability on hardpack and confidence when pushing speed, while remaining versatile enough for park laps and side hits. A flex rating of 7 places the Tornado firmly in the responsive category, providing support for big landings and high speed lines without feeling overly demanding.

Inside, the board features an Ultra Light Core, blending paulownia and poplar for an efficient strength to weight ratio. D.R.S.T. SuperTubes and carbon stringers reinforce the camber and edges, increasing pop, power, and response. The Tri-Ax fiberglass layup further enhances torsional stiffness, giving the board a precise and stable feel underfoot.

The Ultra Glide S sintered base is fast, durable, and designed to carry speed across flats and long runouts. Flex Walls, Bataleon’s urethane poured sidewalls, absorb vibration and reduce chatter, contributing to smoother performance in rough snow. With +2 backseat inserts, the Tornado also allows for a more setback stance on deeper days, improving float and reducing back leg fatigue.
