Built around the proven comfort and simplicity of the original Access Jacket, this updated model introduces higher-end materials and refined details that elevate protection, durability and daily usability in the mountains. The result is a dependable 2 layer shell that balances weatherproofing, breathability and mobility for riders who want reliable coverage without unnecessary complexity.

The jacket uses a 30K waterproof, 20K breathable Eco-Vortex 2L shell made from a 100 percent recycled outer layer. This fabric offers robust storm protection and consistent moisture management, supported by full seam sealing and a Rudolph Biofinish 80/50 PFC-free Eco-DWR treatment. These elements work together to keep water out, allow perspiration to escape and maintain comfort through active riding and variable weather. Laminated pocket flaps and welded bar tacks enhance long-term durability in exposed areas.

Airblaster equips the Beast Access Jacket with a YKK Aquaguard waterproof main zipper, improving resistance against wind and moisture at the center front. A removable powder skirt offers adaptable coverage depending on conditions or personal preference, while pit vents allow efficient temperature regulation during climbs, traverses or warmer days. The hood features one-handed adjustability, a laminated brim for structure and a no-snag elastic opening for a secure and predictable fit.

Storage is practical and streamlined with two zippered hand pockets and an external chest pocket. Inside, a combination of mesh and solution-dyed embossed taffeta provides a comfortable interior that supports breathability. The powder skirt also uses solution-dyed taffeta, reducing environmental impact while maintaining durability and function.

Cuffs are intentionally simple, using elastic construction with integrated thumb loops to keep sleeves in place under gloves. Airblaster’s molded Airpill secure cuff closure and the signature waterproof welded Airpill patch add functional and visual refinement. The jacket uses a Baggy Plus Fit with a 90s-inspired oversized silhouette, offering generous freedom of movement without compromising technical performance.

Sustainability remains a core focus throughout its design. The jacket is fully PFAS-free and made without PFC, PFAS, PFOA, PFOS or PFCA, aligning with modern environmental standards while retaining high-level weather protection.
